This game comes in two versions. The first is Steam Joker Poker, with a single 5-card hand, and the other is Steam Joker Poker 4 Hands, which, as the name suggests, has four hands. In this second, the bets are higher.

As in other Espresso Games games, the bets are made for the value of the coin and steps. Once the bet is established, you must press the Deal button and you will receive 5 cards. You must choose which cards you want to save by clicking on each one of them, at which point a padlock will appear. By default the game will select some cards, but you can modify it. Automatic selection is based on video poker rules.

Once you have selected, click on change and you will receive new cards. Once this is done it will be discovered if you can form any combination of those present in poker. If so, you will receive a prize and you can play one of the two possible games: Hi-Lo or Double.

If you play Hi-Lo you can play your prize by choosing if the next card is raised or lowered to the one that has just been discovered. If you hit, you can bet again, if you miss you will lose your bet. You can collect the prize before each hand. In this minigame you can make an Extra Bonus bet. Before you start playing you can decide to activate this option and add 1 extra credit to each bet.

In the Double minigame you can bet your prize and double it by choosing a card that is higher than the one revealed at the beginning hand in hand. If you get it right, you can play again, but if you miss, you will lose your bet.
